Lindsey S. Chang, DMD

“There is nothing more fulfilling in the dental field than to get someone out of pain and on a path to a healthier mouth”

Dr.-Lindsey-ChangsqAlthough Dr. Chang grew up an island girl from Jamaica, she knew from a very young age she wanted to be a dentist and make a difference in her community. She gained scholarships to both her high school, The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT and her undergraduate college, Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.  She graduated near the top of her class with a Bachelors in Science from Rollins College and then went straight on to dental school.  Dr. Chang received her DMD at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL.  During her sophomore year, Dr. Chang pioneered the college’s first dental mission trip to Jamaica which still runs today, 13 years later.  Dr. Chang served as Faculty for several years working with the dental students to treat the underserved.  Now most of Dr. Chang’s community service is local participating annually in the Give Kids a Smile program and by dedicating her time to serving St. Raphael’s patients at Lodi Endodontics.

Dr. Chang then practiced as a General Dentist for two years in private practice and two years at the U.S. Veteran Affairs in Orlando, FL when she realized that she had a talent and passion for Endodontics.  Dr. Chang applied and got accepted into Endodontic Residency at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.  While in residency, Dr. Chang was 1 of 9 residents selected to serve on the Resident Expert Advisory Council for the American Association of Endodontics.  She continues to be an active member of the AAE and has served on the Nominating Committee for California’s Endodontic District Director.  She graduated with a Specialty in Endodontics and is now proud to be serving the Lodi community and surrounding areas.  Dr. Chang has served on the San Joaquin Dental Society Board of Directors, Secretary and now Treasurer hoping to have a meaningful impact in her community.

When not at the office, Dr. Chang enjoys spending time with her family– her husband Rick and her two daughters, Isabella and Allie. She was drawn to California for the great outdoors where she can hike, ski, wine-taste and golf.  She also has a passion for yoga, travel, food and tea!
