Matthew W. Hatzke, DDS
“My goal is to change the narrative associated with root canals by ensuring that every patient’s experience is positive and that their concerns are heard, understood, and addressed.”
Dr. Hatzke is a California native, born and raised in the Bay Area in San Jose. He was an NCAA Division I soccer player at Santa Clara University after which he was drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer. He eventually ended up on the San Jose Earthquakes and fulfilled a lifelong dream of playing for his hometown team.
Following his soccer career, Dr. Hatzke attended The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he graduated near the top of his class. He then joined his family’s general dental practice in San Jose, where his father is a dentist and mother is a hygienist. The experience gained was invaluable to his career as an endodontist.
